    Joseph M. Redling is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Nutrisystem, Inc. Mr. Redling has been with the company since September of 2007 and oversees all aspects of Nutrisystem operations, including strategic partnerships, new product development and geographic expansion. With deep global marketing expertise, he also maintains oversight of the company's vigorous marketing efforts, brand development and customer engagement activities.

    Under Mr. Redling's stewardship, Nutrisystem expanded to 170 menu offerings, featuring 80 new foods, with program choices now including the new Nutrisystem Flex, the brand’s most flexible weight loss solution designed to fit busy lifestyles; and The Nutrisystem Select Program, a result of Nutrisystem’s exclusive partnership with Schwan’s Home Service, Inc., a leading provider of fine frozen foods, that will bring 39 fresh-frozen meals to the Nutrisystem menu.

    In addition Mr. Redling has assembled a powerful ecommerce team and overseen the comprehensive expansion of the Nutrisystem website that features a brand new look and feel and will provide easier navigation and more beneficial user-resources including updated interactive community tools, enhanced weight loss tracking for users, member blogs and motivating weight loss tips.

    Mr. Redling has also recently forged an extensive retail partnership with Costco Wholesale Corporation that will allow customers to purchase the Nutrisystem program in all 384 Costco stores across the country, allowing the brand to extend its weight loss programs and services to an expanded customer base through Costco’s retail channel.

    Prior to joining Nutrisystem, Mr. Redling served as Chairman and CEO of AOL International, and President of AOL Paid Services and Customer Management. Credited with successfully transitioning the company to an advertising revenue model, Mr. Redling implemented groundbreaking programs that resulted in significant gains in profitability and customer retention. In addition, Mr. Redling managed the multi-billion-dollar paid subscription business and led customer engagement efforts with AOL's 200 million monthly unique visitors.

    Mr. Redling previously served as AOL's Chief Marketing Officer and President of AOL Access, where he led the subscription business, call center operations, brand management and direct marketing efforts. Initially joining AOL in 1999 as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Redling also served as president of AOL Inc.'s Brand Marketing division.

    Prior to his tenure at AOL, Mr. Redling served in a number of senior level positions in the entertainment, leisure and hospitality industries and has spent 20 years successfully creating and developing unique branded customer experiences across several different industries.

    David Clark
    Chief Financial Officer
    Nutrisystem,Inc.

    Mr. Clark is Chief Financial Officer of Nutrisystem, joining the company in November 2007. Previously, Mr. Clark served as Chief Financial Officer of Claymont Steel (NASDAQ: PLTE) from February 2006 to November 2006. Prior to joining Claymont, Mr. Clark co-founded and served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of SunCom Wireless, Inc. (NYSE:TPC) from 1997 through February 2006. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Clark also co-founded and served as Chief Financial officer of Triton Cellular Partners, L.P. until its sale in 2000. In addition, Mr. Clark has served as Managing Director at Furman Selz L.L.C. specializing in communications finance, and spent over ten years at Citibank N.A. and Citicorp Securities Inc. as a lending officer and a high yield finance specialist. Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Boston College.

    Michael Amburgey
    Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
    Nutrisystem, Inc.
    Mr. Amburgey currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, joining the Nutrisystem team in 2011. Backed by over 28 years of marketing expertise, Mike is a proven, results-oriented, classically trained marketer adept at managing multi-sales channel complexity including national/specialty retail, direct response and e-commerce. He possesses a solid conviction to find the winning opportunity in any situation, and has a proven history of building and developing branded businesses in a broad range of industries and companies. 

    Before joining Nutrisystem, Mr. Amburgey was the Chief Marketing Officer for Oreck Corporation. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in defining brand positioning, led the development of fresh creative and promotion approaches, and drove a successful new product development program that aided in reinvigorating the venerable brand. Prior to his time at Oreck, Mike held the position of Vice President of Marketing for Bowflex and Schwinn Fitness at Nautilis, Inc., where he spearheaded the introduction of new products, improved media results, defined a new segmentation strategy and introduced a new cross-product campaign to drive a unified brand position and increase awareness.

    Mr. Amburgey has also held marketing leadership positions at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) and Jergens (Kao Brands) after launching his career at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. In addition to Oreck and Bowflex Fitness, he has contributed to many of America’s favorite brands, including Tums Antacid, Contac Cold, Jergens Lotion and Sure Antiperspirant. 

    Bruce Daggy, PhD
    Senior Vice President of Research & Development and Chief Science Officer

    Dr. Bruce Daggy, Ph.D., joined the company in 2010 and is presently the Senior Vice President of Research & Development and Chief Science Officer, where his responsibilities include new product development, clinical research, and outreach to the medical community.

    Dr. Daggy has more than 20 years experience in Healthcare R&D, working across a number of therapeutic areas and in product formats ranging from beverages and supplements to pharmaceuticals. Most recently, he spent the previous 13 years at GlaxoSmithKline, including the past four years as Vice President of Weight Control R&D. In that role, he led the group which supported the Rx-to-OTC switch of orlistat (alli®), and the development of a behavioral support plan, new products, and new claims. He previously served as Vice President of GlaxoSmithKline’s Nutritional Healthcare Division in the UK from 2001 to 2005, leading the Nutritional research program that encompassed a wide range of applications, from fortified beverages in developing countries to sport nutrition.  In addition, Dr. Daggy held various positions in Healthcare R&D with Procter & Gamble, and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences Department of Florida State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University and a BA in Biology from University of Virginia, and is a member of the American Society for Nutrition, the American Heart Association, and the Obesity Society.  He has authored over 75 publications and twelve issued U.S. patents.
